Around 250 members and guests attended the SCDI Highlands & Islands Annual Dinner & Business Excellence Awards.  The evening combined a mix of business and pleasure and was an excellent networking and corporate entertainment occasion.

The Dinner provided a unique platform to showcase the achievements of companies in the Highlands and Islands in a wide range of sectors to a key business audience. 

The 2008 event took place on Friday 19 September.  SCDI was delighted that James Smith, Chairman of Shell UK presented the awards and gave a short address.  The evening was hosted by broadcaster and journalist Isla Traquair and the after dinner entertainment was provided by Dead Ringers star Jon Culshaw.
