SCDI has been active in London since the creation of its London Committee in 1932. Today, SCDI aims to play a valuable role by providing a unique, independent forum for enhancing the knowledge of Scottish economic and business issues amongst key policy makers and opinion formers in London.

In 2010 and beyond, SCDI plans to add value to the shared agenda of London-based members and Scots visiting London, by providing on-going interaction and debate on current issues with national bodies, with Westminster, and within the business community. Our programme will be chaired by Malcolm Robertson, Deputy Director of Group Communications, BAA Limited.

The Annual Dinner is SCDI’s flagship event in London and is attended by 150 senior business people, politicians and academics.

The dinner is a high-profile opportunity to share experience and knowledge of Scotland and its future development.
