SCDI Innovation Series 2017 (Session 1)
'Can We Be Zero's? - Energy & Environmental Innovation'

This Business Breakfast Discussion is the first session in a series of three Innovation Series events which SCDI are delivering in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland, which will focus on how to drive Innovation across sectors in Scotland.

Creating sustainable solutions to the challenges we face both here and in the world more widely will offer growth opportunities and will support a strong economy.

This first session - 'Can We Be Zero's? - Energy & Environmental Innovation' will see an audience of senior influencers from across SCDI's membership, an expert Industry Panel and leading Academics from UWS discuss how to capitalise on Scotland's success in renewable energy to increase the rate and rollout of innovation in energy and resource technologies to ensure sustainable energy development which will support Scotland's Circular Economy.

The ultimate aim has to be for Scotland to become a net zero emission economy, but what are the steps we need to take to get there?

Breakfast will be served upon arrival, providing an opportunity to network with fellow guests in advance of the facilitated Innovation discussion session.

NB: SCDI member places MUST be requested & registered in advance.
