SCDI works across Scotland to ensure it reflects and actively supports members both nationally and locally. The SCDI regional office for the Highlands & Islands is in Inverness and it supports an active membership in the region, with direct links to the wider organisation and its membership. SCDI encourages members to make use of these direct links and to capitalise on the local networks and knowledge.
Fraser Grieve, Highlands & Islands Manager for SCDI
In January 2012 Fraser took up the post of Highlands & Islands Manager, and is responsible for ensuring the economic opportunities and challenges of the area are recognised both within SCDI and by policy makers across Scotland and the UK. Before taking up his post Fraser spent the previous six years as the head of Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspeys MP Danny Alexander's office. As a key adviser to Mr Alexander he has built up a wealth of policy and communications experience. Before moving to Inverness in 2005, Fraser spent three years in Edinburgh managing conferences and corporate communications. |
