This latest SCDI Business Seminar will focus on climate change and energy transition and how they have become the defining issues of our time. How we respond is going to affect all of us.

Against this backdrop, Paul de Leeuw, Director of Robert Gordon University’s Energy Transition Institute, will reflect on what the implications might be for society, the energy sector and the North East of Scotland. It will be an interactive session that pulls together climate change, energy transition and provides a context in which to discuss the opportunities for the region.

In addition, Alison Kerlogue, Subsurface Technical Resource Manager – Reservoir Services, Lloyd’s Register (LR), will explore decarbonisation and the opportunities for the oil and gas industry in driving the energy transition.

A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
