Connectivity and Productivity

SCDI Business Engagement and Networking Lunch

3 December 2019

SCDI are pleased to extend an invitation to a business engagement and networking lunch, in partnership with CityFibre, the UK’s largest alternative provider of full fibre infrastructure, and CommsFM, who provide IT support and telecom services to hundreds of clients throughout the UK.

This event will run twice: in Glasgow on 28 November, and in Edinburgh on 3 December.

Automation and technological progress have the potential to boost Scotland’s productivity and to generate higher growth even while Scotland’s working age population is forecast to fall.

Join us to hear from guest speaker Paul North from CityFibre on how state of the art connectivity can enable the digital revolution, drive productivity and help future proof our economy in a global marketplace.

Guests will also hear from Matt Lancashire, SCDI Director of Policy, on the opportunities for business in this Fourth Industrial Revolution and SCDI’s ongoing work in this area as we develop our blueprint for Scotland’s economy to 2030.

Invitation to this kind of event is just one benefit of SCDI membership. To find out more about membership opportunities, click below.
