Date: 21 January 2021

Times: 1830 – 2030, plus networking

Join us online for our first virtual Annual Lecture on 21 January 2021!

Our speaker for the evening is Chris Stark. Chris has been the chief executive of the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) since April 2018. The CCC is the UK government’s official climate change advisor. He was previously the director of energy and climate change for the Scottish government and before that worked across Whitehall, including in the Treasury. Chris is an excellent speaker, and we’re particularly pleased to welcome him so soon after publishing our Clean Growth Manifesto.

We are using an online platform that will allow networking at tables, so as well as hearing from Chris, you will be able to catch up with colleagues and contacts. We’ll also be partnering with Visit Aberdeenshire to celebrate the best of the North East.

2021 is SCDI’s 90th year and we’ll be starting on a high note with our Annual Lecture. While we are disappointed not to be able to meet in person just yet, we know that the event will be just as much of a success for our members and this year’s charity partner, Sue Ryder, as always.

This event is free to attend for members – you will have received a booking code by email, either in an invite or in our newsletter. Alternatively, get in touch for your booking code using the button below. If you need help adding your promo code, instructions are here.
