STEM IN A SHOEBOX
First/Second Level
We are excited to present a series of practical STEM activities with a Shoebox, to complement our popular Pizza Box challenges.
The challenges each use a shoebox to introduce a range of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths concepts. These can be run at a club or within the curriculum to suit the school.
Instructions are provided for each activity along with a list of the easily accessible resources required, in addition to the shoebox!
MYSTERIOUS MATHS
Second Level
A selection of fun challenges exploring the mystery of maths. The three activities Tiling, Counters and Folding, allow pupils to discover and experience maths hands-on, to literally get a ‘feel’ for maths.

REACH FOR THE STARS!
Second/Third Level
Reach for the Stars is available to download free of charge and can be used flexibly – at a club, off-timetable day or as a transition project for P7/S1. The 5 units take pupils through an exciting range of activities and experiments to help understand some of the challenges of working in space: It’s Astronomical, Signals from Space, Science in Space Exploration, Effects of Zero Gravity and Rover Design Technology Challenges.
