We are delighted to be the Scottish delivery partner for the Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge. The Challenge introduces students to real-world engineering, technology, robotics and computing challenges. The Challenge aims to help students put their school learning into context and discover exciting new careers. Teams build, program and control a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 robot for a series of environmentally themed missions. They have also conducted research and presented an idea of what engineers can do to create a cleaner, more sustainable world.
There are 550 teams in the UK and Ireland who have received free LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) resources to complete the Challenge.
In January/February of each year the Scottish regional heats of the Challenge takes place. Teams compete to win one of 6 places to the UK Finals which take place at the Big Bang Fair at the NEC, Birmingham in March each year.
The winning teams for 2019/20 representing Scotland are:
