This latest SCDI Webinar will focus on some of the many aspects of Cyber Security and how to protect your business. The event will feature three experts to guide us through some of the labyrinth of security issues which increasingly face businesses and individuals as they have moved to home working in recent weeks. This Webinar will cover hints and tips for home working, advice for business to navigate the plethora of information on cyber security and guidance on what training is required for staff to be aware of online threats. There will also be a look ahead to future skills needs and requirements.

Steve Brand, Joint Managing Director, G5 Technologies, will provide guidance on best practice for home workers whether using business or personal equipment. This will encompass IT tips, health & safety advice and how to create the best working environment.

Austen Clark, Managing Director, Clark IT, will explore Cyber Essentials, a simple but effective, Government backed scheme to help protect organisations against a whole range of the most common cyber-attacks. He will outline key measures which need to be in place across the operations of a business to prevent attack and provide the basis of a road map or help guide.

Jai Aenugu, Managing Director, The TechForce, will examine how best to train and communicate the key facts about cyber security to your staff so they can develop a basic awareness and skills base. This will be critical in protecting future business investment in home working capability and capacity post COVID-19.
