Harnessing value for Scotland from offshore wind development

4 February, 12.30pm – 3pm

Online – joining instructions will be sent to registered delegates the day before the event

Purpose-led businesses, who measure their success against social and environmental objectives are likely to be the winners in the new economy. Community benefit clauses have been widely used in delivering onshore wind development to support social, economic and environmental benefits for our communities including jobs, apprenticeships and local charity and community initiatives but how do we define community when we are talking about development miles offshore in the middle of the sea and how do we ensure communities across Scotland benefit from that value?

We’ll hear from speakers and organisations spearheading solutions and gain an insight into the fascinating ecosystem which the blue economy represents with workshops to capture the challenges and opportunities and identify supply chain opportunities.

This event is being delivered in partnership with Falck Renewables and Bluefloat Energy.

This event is by invite only. If you have not received an invitation, and would like to request a place, please contact Maria Campbell.
